Gaffin explains that
“The song is written from the perspective of a kid who is running away. He says ‘I’m out of here, I’m off to find true north.’ It’s about recognizing that you don’t fit in and trying to find a truth and purpose. Those are all classic punk themes. We still remember exactly what it feels like to be a disaffected kid in this world. And I think we were able to convey that particularly well on this album.”
Produced by the band and Joe Barresi, True North celebrates the power of cogent punk in the face of personal pain and adversity. On the new album, the storied band deliberately revisits and refines the powerful and melodic Southern California sound they helped define.
On the sound, Brett Gurewitz states,
“We went back to our original mission statement of short concise bursts of melody and message. The intent was to record stripped-down punk songs without sacrificing any conceptual density.”

As soon as we hear about those details they will be updated on Yell! Magazine, but in the meantime make sure you check out the video above for MANIAC.
]]>It would have been nice if AMC thought of doing this as a filler for the mid-season gap, but no, this black and white fest will get underway on February 14, 4 days after The Walking Dead Season 3 picks up again. AMC, you suck.

The Walking Dead In Black and White
Ferret Music recording group The Devil Wears Prada and Metal Blade Records’ As I Lay Dying have announced details of the upcoming North American co-headline tour. The hugely anticipated trek gets underway February 22nd at Ventura, California’s Majestic Ventura Theater Half House and then continues through early April. Tickets for all dates will be on sale Friday, December 21st.
The Devil Wears Prada and As I Lay Dying will be accompanied on the epic tour by For Today (on all dates except March 7th-8th), The Color Morale (February 22nd – March 7th), and The Chariot (March 8th – April 4th). For complete details and ticket information, please visit www.tdwpband.com/tour and www.asilaydying.com/events.
The tour follows The Devil Wears Prada’s 2011 breakthrough, Dead Throne, which confirmed the band as one of the most potent and powerful in modern American metal. The album’s latest video, “Mammoth,” premiered to great acclaim earlier this year.
The Devil Wears Prada followed the release of Dead Throne with the hugely successful Dead Throne Tour: North America, captured for posterity on the recently released CD/DVD, DEAD&ALIVE. The collection includes performances of songs spanning TDWP’s career, including such fan favorites as “Danger: Wildman,” “Born To Lose,” “Kansas,” “Assistant To The Regional Manager,” and “Outnumbered.” In addition, DEAD&ALIVE features an array of behind-the-scenes footage shot and edited by the band’s own Jeremy DePoyster.
Long hailed as a genuinely electrifying live act, The Devil Wears Prada has also proven indefatigable road warriors. In addition to countless headline dates and festival sets, recent highlights include spending summer 2012 alongside Slipknot, Slayer, Anthrax, and the one and only Motörhead as one of the main stage headliners on the all-star Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival.
As I Lay Dying preceded the release of their sixth full-length studio album, Awakened, with a highly successful run on 2012′s Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival where the band rotated between the side and main stages. Just before Awakened dropped on September 25th, the band released their first production video for the album for the track “A Greater Foundation.” Fans instantly took to the Internet to express their love of the new song – AND to discuss the relevance of the lyrics.
The five-piece San Diego, California-based metal act, As I Lay Dying, recently concluded their run on the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour where they toured alongside Asking Alexandria, Memphis May Fire, and Attila, including a stop at the hugely successful California Metal Fest where the band electrified the stage and decimated metal fans with their powerful and blistering live set that the band is known for.

INKED Skull Watch
We know it’s not an Omega Speedmaster, Rolex Submariner, or Patek Philippe, and it never could be with a $29.95 sale price. It does, however, have its own purpose and its own edgy style. This watch says, “fuck you, I have my own priorities, and they don’t involve spending a small fortune on some falsely conceived sense of elitism.”
To say that the Limited Edition INKED Skull Watch is affordable would be an understatement. At the sale price, they’re practically giving it away. And with just a few days left before Christmas, you might be able to receive it just in time to make it into someone’s stocking, if not your own.
The skull on the face is awesome looking, as is the circle in a square look. The only complaints I can see are that the genuine leather band is too narrow and that “INKED” appears on the face. What are you gonna do though?
Hop on over to InkedShop.com and place your order before Christmas is over.

Please leave a comment in the designated section below to tell us what you think of our sexy selection.
What constitutes a “favorite” Suicide Girl? Well, she has to meet a few of our standards: She should be fairly heavily tattooed and/or pierced, into one or more of our topics of interest (heavy metal/hardcore rap, horror/sci-fi/action movies, MMA, and/or specific types of video games), and seemingly interesting as a person (as best as we can judge from the brief bio SuicidGirls sends us), and sexy.
Why SuicideGirls? They say it best: “SuicideGirls is a community that celebrates Alternative Beauty and alternative culture from all over the world.” Hey, we’re into that subculture thing too.

Capcom also confirmed another RE6 update is coming on January 22, 2013 that will turn on the Agent Hunt mode from the start.
The last piece of reminder not to forget is that three new multiplayer modes (Predator, Onslaught, and Survivor) for Resident Evil 6 is being released tomorrow on the Xbox 360 for a bundled price of $9, or for $4 individually via Xbox LIVE.
Resident Evil 6 PC Version
According to Gamespot, Tess lives in one of the last remaining quarantine zones of a city, who works in the black market under martial law, and also helps Joel to secure the contraband.
“Tess and Joel subscribe to the same dog-eat-dog philosophy,” Sony said on the official PlayStation blog. “They survive by being willing to do what others can’t or won’t. Her trust in and loyalty towards Joel runs deep. However, secretly, she questions whether Joel shares the same emotions that she feels for him.”
Lastly, Tess is voiced by actress Annie Wersching, who is known for playing the role of Renee Walker in 24. Wersching has also provided motion capture for the character.
