Well, it definitely did and a third Annabelle film is coming to theaters in the near future.

On Friday, Annabelle Comes Home was officially revealed via Annabelle’s Twitter page.

Determined to keep Annabelle from wreaking more havoc, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home, placing her “safely” behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest’s holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target—the Warrens’ ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends.

Written and directed by Gary Dauberman (based on a story idea from James Wan and Dauberman), Annabelle Comes Home stars McKenna Grace, Madison Iseman, Katie Sarife, Patrick Wilson, and Vera Farmiga.

Warner Bros. will release the film on Friday, June 28th

Jorge Masvidal Throws Punches With Leon Edwards [VIDEO] https://www.yellmagazine.com/jorge-masvidal-punches-with-leon-edwards-video/124612/ https://www.yellmagazine.com/jorge-masvidal-punches-with-leon-edwards-video/124612/#respond Sun, 17 Mar 2019 14:02:18 +0000 https://www.yellmagazine.com/?p=124612 Jorge Masvidal is back! Following two straight loses in MMA, Masvidal made a big return yesterday over the hype train, Darren Till.

In the main event of UFC Fight Night 147, the American mixed martial artist won the fight against Till via knockout in the second round. The win also earned him the Fight of the Night and second Performance of the Night bonus awards.

After the phenominal win, Masdival then engaged in a bizzare incident with Leon Edwards, who also took in a win in the co-main event. During a backstage interview with ESPN +, Masvidal abandoned the interview and went after Edwards. Apparently, there’s tension between the two and Masvidal made that clear yesterday evening.

According to reports, Edwards received cuts from Masvidal’s punches and that both men were escorted out of the The 02 Arena.

That’s right! On Wednesday, March 20th at 7:00pm, Depraved will have its world premiere at What the Fest!? Depraved, set in modern Brooklyn, is a meditative reimagining of Shelley’s classic novel, which explores the crisis of masculinity and ideas about loneliness, memory and the subtle psychological shocks that shape us as individuals.

Alex (Owen Campbell) leaves his girlfriend Lucy (Chloë Levine) after an emotional night, walking the streets alone to get home. From out of nowhere, he is stabbed in a frenzied attack, with the life draining out of him. He awakes to find he is the brain in a body he does not recognize. This creature, Adam (Alex Breaux), has been brought into consciousness by Henry (David Call), a brilliant field surgeon suffering from PTSD after two tours in the Mideast, and his accomplice Polidori (Joshua Leonard), a predator determined to cash in on the experiment that brought Adam to life. Henry is increasingly consumed with remorse over what he’s done and when Adam finally discovers a video documenting his own origin, he goes on a rampage that reverberates through the group and tragedy befalls them all.

Depraved was written and directed by Fessenden, and the film stars David Call, Joshua Leonard, Alex Breaux, Ana Kayne, Maria Dizzia, Chloë Levine, Owen Campbell, and Addison Timlin.

According to multiple online sources, McGregor was leaving a well-known nightclub Liv at 5:20am in the morning. The MMA superstar then got into an altercation with a man who was attempting to take a few pictures. But that didn’t sit well with McGregor who slapped the cell phone out of the man’s hand and stomped on it a few times. The $1000 phone was damaged, according to the victim.

A few days later, TMZ attained a video that appears to show McGregor stomping on a cell phone on the ground. In addition, you can hear a man shouting, “Let me get my phone, man!” It’s cleary McGregor who doesn’t seem to be doing any good favors for himself since his one-side loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229

Check out the video clip and let us know what you think in the comment section below.

HAGAZUSSA, The Next Best Gothic Folk Horror Since The Witch? https://www.yellmagazine.com/hagazussa/124579/ https://www.yellmagazine.com/hagazussa/124579/#respond Wed, 13 Mar 2019 15:23:15 +0000 https://www.yellmagazine.com/?p=124579 Following a successful run in the film festival earlier this year, the next great gothic folk horror entitled Hagazussa will receive a limited theatrical release in the U.S. very soon.

That’s right! Hagazussa is Germany’s answer to The Witch, so expect April to be as sinister or even worse. Austrian director Lukas Feigelfeld managed to create a haunting pagan death trip— a creepy creation filled with just the right mix of moody atmosphere, brooding terror and supernatural dread to ignite the fire of slow-burn horror fans everywhere.

In the 15th Century in the remote Austrian Alps, the orphan Albrun (Celina Peter) grows up to be a simple goatherd living in solitude…and a marked woman. As a scapegoat of ancient myths and monstrous misogyny, Albrun (portrayed by Aleksandra Cwen as an adult) finds herself tormented by the local townsfolk, driving her to unleash the inner darkness that swells within her. A self-styled witch, Albrun soon exercises her other-worldly birthright and conjures a plague that makes the surrounding human cruelty look pathetic and small by comparison.

After researching old pagan beliefs and folklore about witches that were supposed to roam the mountain woods in those times, my interest was to develop a character that these folk tales would have branded as a witch,” says HAGAZUSSA writer/director Feigelfeld on his exploration of the intersection between ancient magic, faith and madness. “[I also wanted] to dig deeper into her psyche and see her as the traumatized, mistreated and finally delusional person that society constructed.

For an early look at Hagazussa, horror hounds can check out the official trailer and poster, courtesy of Dailydead.com. Doppelgänger Releasing and Bloody Disgusting will unleash Hagazussa in select theaters across the US in mid-to-late April before bringing it to Blu-ray, DVD, and VOD on April 23rd

Ahead of the premiere, the very first teaser trailer for her grizzly new horror film was released.

For those of you familiar with Lucky McKee’s The Women will be happy to hear that Darlin is somewhat a sequel. The twistedly vicious adventure continues with McIntosh reprising her infamous role. Darlin also stars Lauryn Canny, Bryan Batt, Nora-Jane Noone, and Cooper Andrews.

Found at a Catholic hospital filthy and ferocious, feral teenager Darlin’ (Lauryn Canny) is whisked off to a care home run by The Bishop (Brian Batt of Mad Men) and his obedient nuns where she is to be tamed into a “good girl.” However, Darlin’ holds a secret darker than the “sins” she is threatened with, and she is not traveling alone. The Woman (Pollyanna McIntosh of The Walking Dead), equally fierce and feral, who raised her is ever present and is determined to come for her no matter who tries to step in her way.

Ronda Rousey Spits Anger Against “Scripted” WWE [VIDEO] https://www.yellmagazine.com/ronda-rousey-spits-anger-against-scripted-wwe-video/124563/ https://www.yellmagazine.com/ronda-rousey-spits-anger-against-scripted-wwe-video/124563/#respond Sat, 09 Mar 2019 15:03:13 +0000 https://www.yellmagazine.com/?p=124563 It’s been a while since we posted about Ronda Rousey and that’s just because she’s not doing any MMA these days. But when she starts to stir shit in the wrestling world, then I’m all ears and eyes.

Rousey, the current Raw Women’s Champion in her first reign has been building toward a triple threat match for the Raw women’s title between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, which will likely be the main event of WrestleMania on April 7 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. If confirmed, this would very well be the first ever women’s main event at a WrestleMania.

However, before the historical event, Rousey broke the cardinal rule of professional wrestling, releasing a video where she angrily said that wrestling is “scripted” and she wasn’t playing by those rules anymore. In addition, she claims she could legitimately beat up every woman in the company.

Rousey said,

It wasn’t a promo they gave me other things to say I didn’t f*cking say it,” Rousey said. “It’s not a promo. It’s not an act. I’m not going out there and doing their f*cking act anymore. They can say it’s part of the act to try and save face but it’s not an act. I’m going out there and doing whatever the hell I want and they can explain it however they want, but f*ck ‘em. Everybody. WWE Universe included. I meant that I’m going to disrespect the sport that they all love so much. ‘Oh don’t break kayfabe, Ronda!’ Wrestling is scripted. It’s made up. It’s not real. None of those b*tches can f*cking touch me. The end.

While this could be part of the storyline the WWE is trying to build, Rousey is drawing lots of attention again to herself and wrestling. I’ll be tunning in on April 7. Will you?
