Last night, Yamazaki prematurely ended the lightweight bout between Kevin Lee and Michael Chiesa in the first round of the main event of UFC Fight Night 112. Moments after Chiesa could tap or go unconscious from Lee’s deep rear-naked choke, Yamazaki stopped the highly-anticipated fight.

This obviously angered White,

Mario Mazzagatti does it again!!! This guy is more concerned with doing this dumb ass heart bullshit then Ref’n the fight!!! Steals a great moment from Lee or let Mike fight it or tap. Nobody gives a shit that u can make a heart with ur hands like a 12 year old girl they want u to pay attention to what’s going on in the fight and do ur job.

As you can see, White refereed to Yamasaki as “Mario Mazzagatti,” in reference to arguably the worst MMA referee in the sport Steve Mazzagatti. White took a stab at Yamazaki’s trademark “heart” gesture before every fight round.

In a post-fight interview, Chiesa also said Yamasaki “should never officiate again.”

That’s right! UFC President Dana White who happens to hold rights to negotiate for Conor McGregor outside of MMA recently dropped some insight on where the cross-over superfight is heading. During the UFC 210 post-fight press conference, White revealed he will meet with McGregor in New York to help move the fight forward.

Conor is having a baby any day now. And after Conor has his baby, Conor and I are gonna meet in New York and then we’ll go from there. We’re not close [to a deal].

I think there’s a better chance of it happening than me quarterbacking. I see this fight happening. Conor wants it and Floyd wants it. I’ve said many times, Conor has done a lot. He’s stepped up for the big fights for this company and for me and for Lorenzo [Fertitta], and I can’t deny him this fight.

While White doesn’t feel a deal is close to being inked yet with McGregor, the brash UFC president did also mention that he has been talking with the Mayweather Team. In fact, it’s been on-going for months.

I’ve been talking to [Mayweather’s team] for a while now.

The longer it takes for us to come to an agreement, I think the longer it’s going to take to negotiate with the Mayweather team. Because I know all the talk of ‘A’ side, ‘B’ side and all this stuff. Listen, of course everything I say is going to come off biased because he’s my guy, but you guys judge. Is Conor McGregor not a massive star? This fight here, Floyd doesn’t make this kind of money either without Conor, so Conor is just as important as Floyd when it comes to this fight. Not to mention the fact that, Conor is actually stepping in and boxing him and not saying, ‘hey, let’s fight in mixed martial arts.’

At the moment, speculations suggest that McGregor’s first fight when he returns from his break will be the Mayweather superfight inside the the four-cornered ring. Stay tuned to Yell! Magazine for much more updates to come.

In fact, in an interview with TMZ over the weekend, White confirmed there has been no movement on the superfight and that he expects McGregor’s next bout to take place inside the octagon.

We’re nowhere. We’re nowhere with it. We’re nowhere. I expect Conor’s next fight to be in the UFC, in mixed martial arts, and the winner of Khabib [Nurmagomedov] and [Tony] Ferguson.

However, McGregor recently said the next time he steps inside the arena will be “through the ropes wearing 10-ounce or eight-ounce gloves.” Which completely runs against White’s claims. At the moment, it’s pretty obvious that McGregor needs to involve the UFC much more, otherwise this boxing bout will be an epic fail. There’s a good chance that McGregor is using all this for more leverage within the promotion, but at the same time shooting himself in the foot.

It appears like the winner between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson will get the next shot at the lightweight title following their UFC interim lightweight bout this weekend at UFC 209 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In a recent interview with The Herd, White made an official offer for Mayweather to fight McGregor, who is currently under contract with the UFC. White said he is willing to pay both fighters $25 million and is also willing to sit and negotiate the split of the pay-per-view.

I’ll tell you what Floyd, here’s a real offer, and I’m the guy who can actually make the offer, and I’m actually making a real offer. We’ll pay you 25 million, we’ll pay Conor 25 million, and then well talk pay-per-view and a certain number. There is a real offer.

In addition, White would build an entire fight card around the fight with a championship bout as the co-main event to make it a special event for combat sport fans.

If we did Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather, there would be another championship bout as the co main event and a stacked card just like we did in New York. And when the show was over, people would leave at least, whether they went to the event or bought it on pay-per-view, feeling like they got their money’s worth.

TMZ caught up with Mayweather, who responded with a big grin on his face and it doesn’t sound like a deal is set in stone.

In a radio show interview on Chad Dukes vs. the World, White stated that GSP still remains under contract with the UFC, but is now open to give the former welterweight champion more money if he is “reasonable.”

White said,

I have a good relationship with Georges and yeah, obviously, we would love him to fight. The problem is, Georges has a deal. Georges is under contract with us right now. He has a deal. I’m not afraid to give Georges St-Pierre more money, but it’s got to be reasonable.

GSP is currently making a leap in combat sport through the MMAAA alongside top UFC stars such as Cain Velasquez, Tim Kennedy, and TJ Dillashaw. He informed MMAFighting.com that negotiations between him and the UFC have not been resolved yet.

At the moment, GSP still believes he’s a free agent.

To everyone’s surprise, Bjorn Rebney, Bellator’s beleaguered former CEO is also one of the main supporters and helped launch this new group, which will primarily focus on balancing the revenue distribution between the promoter and fighter.

Due to his past history in Bellator, Rebney’s involvement with the group has gained some “negative” responses from some fighters, including UFC President Dana White, who finally voiced his thoughts on the MMAAA on Tuesday.

White specifically targeted Rebney,

Listen, I don’t know enough about it to really speak on it. The only thing I need to know is the biggest scumbag in the history of combat sports — Bjork — is involved in this thing.

And if you’re a fighter — listen, there’s three unions out there now all battling against each other. And if you’re a fighter, these guys are all looking to get in your pocket. It’s another business, it’s a business where guys are going to make money. And if you’re a fighter and this is what you want to do, you’ve got to figure out whose hand you want in your pocket. And I guarantee you, you don’t want Bjork’s hand in your pocket. You know what I mean?

In addition, White highly suggested that fighters should look into Rebney’s history with fighters before committing to the MMAAA,

Listen, if you’re going to have a guy in your pocket, and you’re a fighter, you might want to go out and ask some other fighters what their opinion is of this f*cking scumbag.
