That’s right! Belfort asked for a rematch with Silva earlier today, however, Silva has all eyes on “The Count” and getting back the gold. On Instagram, Silva offered to face Bisping one more time in England.

Silva wrote,

I’m serious, I’ve never asked for a rematch with no adversary, but I do want to have an opportunity of a fight with Bisping, I deserve that for everything I have achieve into the organization saving last time fights’ events even in upper categories, fighting injured, broke a leg. I have proved why I am the best in world in this sport and I humbly say that none of my adversaries who supposedly defeated me have achieved or will my actions into the organization.

On June 4th, Bisping became the first-ever Brit to win a UFC title. He defeated Luke Rockhold via knockout early in the first round. Bisping also defeated Silva by a controversial unanimous decision win at UFC Fight Night: Silva vs. Bisping in February.

At the moment, the UFC is still deciding on who will get the first crack at Bisping, there’s just so many interesting options.

For the entire call out message from Silva, continue reading below.

Anderson Silva Call Out Michael Bisping

Well, I could give you million reasons to make the fight against Bisping happen, but the truth is that he is afraid. I’m not going to compare myself to others even mention someone else, but in my perspective I believe I have the right to a fight with him once again, because I have won London’s fight and a rematch was promised. However, as he was injured by me during the fight, he wouldn’t be prepared to fight too soon, then he was ready to replace someone, but not to face me in Brazil, right? You know I lived an unexpected situation having a surgery, but if it wasn’t happened I could fight in Brazil. So, I think it’s time to show that I’m serious, I’ve never asked for a rematch with no adversary, but I do want to have an opportunity of a fight with Bisping, I deserve that for everything I have achieve into the organization saving last time fights’ events even in upper categories, fighting injured, broke a leg. I have proved why I am the best in world in this sport and I humbly say that none of my adversaries who supposedly defeated me have achieved or will my actions into the organization. Undoubtedly, I believe this rematch will be the best step for UFC and Dana is aware of it, because numbers does tell and as we always have to stand by the group let it be from both sides. If I could help him to feel more confident and less afraid I would agree to fight him in his hometown, Manchester.

Georges St. Pierre Announces He Is Ready To Fight In The UFC Again https://www.yellmagazine.com/georges-st-pierre-announces-ready-fight-ufc/110051/ https://www.yellmagazine.com/georges-st-pierre-announces-ready-fight-ufc/110051/#respond Tue, 21 Jun 2016 12:52:32 +0000 https://www.yellmagazine.com/?p=110051 It sounds like one of the greatest mixed martial artist to ever step foot inside the Octagon is ready to come back and dominate again.

Canada’s George St. Pierre, also known as GSP, unofficially announced on Monday he is ready to put a stump to his three-year hiatus from the sport and wants to fight in the UFC again, if the terms are right.

In interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, GSP said:

Exactly. That’s what I’m saying. I’m ready. I’m an emotional guy. My agents, even before I came on the show today, they briefed me. They said, ‘don’t say this, don’t say that.’ They briefed me, they said, ‘we’re in negotiations, remember, blah, blah, blah.’ Like, yeah, yeah, yeah, don’t worry, I’m not a kid. But I’m an emotional guy, and when I get emotional sometimes, I say things that are necessarily in the best of my interests, and I’m trying to not go overboard with that.

But the only thing is, I love my sport and I still feel I’m at my best right now. The clock is running. I’m not getting any younger. I’m in the peak of my career and if there is a shot, there is another goal, another run, I better do it and do it quick, because it is time to do it now.

At some point in the interview, GSP indicated his interest in fighting for “something big”, which would help bring back the momentum for another run in the UFC.

I have a lot to lose in this, because I finished on top. I finished as champion, and that’s the way everybody would like to leave the sport — on top, healthy, and wealthy — and I did it. If I go back and, it needs to be for something big. I think for my first fight, it needs to be for something big, and that’ll give me the swing and the momentum to do it again and again and again for another run.

One of the names GSP mentioned in the interview is Michael Bisping, who recently dethroned Luke Rockhold at UFC 199 for the middleweight gold.

At the moment, there’s no official word on when and who GSP would face in his UFC return, but I expect an official announcement to come in the very near future.

Stay tuned to Yell! Magazine for the update.

Michael Bisping Steps In To Face Luke Rockhold At UFC 199 https://www.yellmagazine.com/michael-bisping-steps-face-luke-rockhold-ufc-199/108879/ https://www.yellmagazine.com/michael-bisping-steps-face-luke-rockhold-ufc-199/108879/#respond Thu, 19 May 2016 01:31:34 +0000 https://www.yellmagazine.com/?p=108879 After nearly a decade long MMA career in the UFC, Michael Bisping is finally, I mean finally, getting a shot at the middleweight title in just a little over two weeks from today.

Former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman was initially scheduled to face Luke Rockhold for the belt at UFC 199, but a surgery on a herniated disc in his neck forced him to withdrawal from the fight this week. In fact, Weidman may be required to sideline for six-to-eight weeks.

In a post on Facebook Weidman stated,

I am being told I’m going to need surgery. Either they take the disc out or they fuse it and I have to meet with surgeons today to figure out what they will do. The good thing is it is c6-7 which is low in the neck, so I will have full range of motion either way and will be back better than ever. I’m told its six-to-eight week recovery for the disc coming out and twelve weeks for a fusion. Even though it’s very hard for me to see a bright side right now, the one silver lining I’m focused on is the timetable would allow me to fight on that NY card in November.

Despite Rockhold already beating Bisping in 2014 via a second-round submission at UFC Fight Night 55, the newly minted champion is still “excited” to face the British MMA pioneer, according to UFC President Dana White. Bisping recently defeated Anderson Silva by a very controversial unanimous decision win in February on Fight Pass.

UFC 199: Rockhold vs. Bisping is back on for June 4 in Los Angeles, California.

But before they step inside the Octagon, the two UFC fighters confronted each other and exchanged words at an open workout session Thursday in Los Angeles. I looks like Bisping was trying to get under Silva’s skin with Viagra comments, however, it didn’t faze Silva and the former champion quickly answered back.

After a few hours UFC President Dana White announced that Anderson Silva and Michael Bisping will face each other in the main event of UFC Fight Night 83, the English mixed martial artist fired the first verbal assault to his middleweight opponent via Twitter. And he didn’t have any kind words to say!

In August, Silva was suspended after failing two drug tests after UFC 183. In court, he argued a tainted sexual enhancement supplement was the main cause for testing positive for drostanolone, which is an anabolic steroid.

UFN 83: Silva vs. Bisping is scheduled for February 27, 2016 in London.

Despite always wanting to fight for the UFC gold and never getting the chance to do so in his MMA career, Michael Bisping instead will finally get a chance to face one of UFC’s all-time greatest fighters in 2016. That’s right! The English mixed martial artist will step inside the Octagon on February 27, 2016 in London to face former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.

It was officially announced by UFC President Dana White via his Twitter account on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, the highly-anticipated middleweight fight will air exclusively on the UFC Fight Pass digital subscription service. This will be Silva’s first fight since being suspended by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) for testing positive for steroid metabolites before and after his fight with Nick Diaz at UFC 183 last January. As for Bisping, he’s coming off a two-fight win streak with the latest victory against Thales Leites by split decision in July.

UFC Fight Night 83 will also feature a fight between Makwan Amirkhani and Mike Wilkinson and Norman Parke faces Rustam Khabilov. This is expected to be the biggest main event in the two-year history of UFC Fight Pass.
