The Walking Dead Episode 704 “Service” – Extended To 85-Minutes

This weekend fans of The Walking Dead will tune to another regular episode of Season 7, but the following episode will be extended. Oddly, Episode 704 entitled “Service” will feature more content than others, which has been extended to an 85-minute runtime.

In this episode, Negan takes a trip to Alexandria and things will turn out ugly in a similar fashion to what happens in the comic book series.

The remaining members of the group try to keep it together in Alexandria; they receive a sobering visit.

The Walking Dead Season 7 Premiere Draws 20.8 Million Viewers

On Sunday night, the season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead was one the most brutal episodes in the history of the series. For months, fans have been speculating who would be knocked off the show and in the end it became a shocking surprise most weren’t expecting.

Besides experiencing an up close encounter with a baseball bat named Lucille, millions of viewers watched Negan break Rick completely down in front of his tribe. In fact, over 20 million viewers tuned in to AMC to watch this blood-splattering episode. The season 7 premiere solidified The Walking Dead as the number one show on television by a wide and expanding margin for a fifth consecutive season.

Charlie Collier, president of AMC said,

When millions of fans come together at almost exactly the same time to share a story – a story elevated, that viewers anticipate and have time to let sink in and discuss, moments we collectively feel – it’s as good as television gets and a reminder of the power of weekly storytelling. This week, ‘The Walking Dead’ once again provided that for all of us. Rest in peace, Glenn and Abraham. You will never be forgotten.

The Walking Dead season seven premiere also became a major event in social media, becoming the most social series program of 2016, according to Nielsen. Fans tuned in and tweeted 4.6 million times globally and 1.8 million times in the U.S. (according to Twitter data), making the premiere the top tweeted show of 2016.

The zombie series returns on AMC this Sunday night.

For those who saw last night’s episode of The Walking Dead witnessed the bloodiest death in the history of the show. That’s right! Without trying to get into the horrifying details and spoiling it for the ones who didn’t see it yet, it was totally gruesome. And I’m saying that in a light way.

The Season 7 premiere will forever be iconic and it won’t be forgotten. But there’s still 15 episodes left to go, so I’m sure there’s tons more madness to come in The Walking Dead. Apparently, the episode sort of rebooted the series according to showrunner Scott M. Gimple with the intention to tell audiences worldwide there’s much more seasons to come.

The Walking Dead Renewed For An Eight Season On AMC

The highly-anticipated return of The Walking Dead on AMC is one week away, however, fans can get extra excited now over the renewal of the series.

That’s right! AMC has already renewed The Walking Dead for an eighth season, which is expected to be a 16-episode season. In addition, The Talking Dead is also confirmed to return on AMC, which is hosted by Chris Hardwick live right after to discuss episodes with fans and celebrities.

At the moment, full details on the eighth season haven’t been announced yet since season seven hasn’t even started. According to online media sources, current showrunner Scott Gimple is set to continue in his current position for the eighth season.

The Walking Dead Season 7 premieres on AMC this Sunday, October 23rd at 9:00pm ET.

In two weeks from now, the Season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead will air on AMC. For those who just can’t wait, the network has released a sneak peek preview of the highly-anticipated first episode.

It’s an intense clip featuring Rick Grimes and Negan, which appears to be moments after the bloody death of one of the recurring members of Rick’s tribe. We still don’t know who gets the bat yet, but we’ll all know very soon as Season 7 picks up on Sunday, October 23rd at 9PM ET.

If you haven’t seen them yet, here are the new “blood red” cast portraits for The Walking Dead Season 7. When I mentioned “blood red”, it’s pretty much my interpretation of the style of the portraits, which obviously has a meaning behind it. It means death is coming!

We all know Season 7 is going to kick our faces in with a brutal premiere since one of the key cast members is going to be nicked off the show by the hands of Negan and his augmented baseball bat. The Walking Dead, Season 7 – Are You Ready?

Fall is finally in the air, and that means that after a much despised summer break, AMC’s The Walking Dead is preparing to kick off Season 7. Teasers, trailers, TV spots… it’s all coming down hard, and the storm is only going to pick up before the season’s debut on October 23rd.

So, what do we have to look forward to? Well, mostly Negan, his barbed bat, Lucile, and who he’ll choose to beat to holy hell with it. So far that’s the crux of the promos. There’s a lot of speculation out there about who the victim/example is, but there is a teaser out there showing Dwight sporting Daryl’s angel-winged vest and riding his motorcycle. Personally, I don’t think the showrunners would get rid of Daryl, and I don’t think they’d make something like this so painfully obvious.

Who do you think met Lucile in the most intimate of ways?

There’s also the bigger picture about what will become of Rick’s group under Negan and his Saviours. Will some sort of coup take place? It’s a pretty safe bet that Rick and certain others won’t be satisfied being essentially enslaved by Negan.

Do you think that there will be some sort of uprising? If so, how do you think it will take place? And, since I don’t follow the graphic novels, will Ezekiel and The Kingdom factor into this equation?

That’s just two questions among many others that should be answered this season.

In a matter of a few days, July 4th just to be precise, Universal Studios in Hollywood will have its grand opening of the hotly anticipated The Walking Dead attraction, which will be a real-life interpretation of AMC’s award-winning television series.

To elevate the authenticity of the zombie attraction, Universal Studios Hollywood partnered with the creative team behind the show, including visionary executive producer and director, Greg Nicotero and his special effects company, KNB Efx.

Ahead of the grand opening, Universal released a new behind-the-scenes look to see how Nicotero trains “scare-actors” with terrifying techniques for the TWD attraction.

Telltale Announces Release Date For “7 Days To Die” On PS4 And Xbox One

7 Days to Die, a hit PC open-world survival game from The Fun Pimps, which features a unique combination of first-person shooter, survival horror, tower defense, and role-playing games is finally coming to next-gen consoles in the very near future.

In a special announcement today, Telltale Publishing just revealed the release date for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version. It’s an upgraded port from PC with new multiplayer mode supporting local split-screen for couch play, additional online multiplayer modes and other features to be revealed in the coming weeks.

In addition, fans of Telltale’s The Walking Dead series will be happy to hear that pre-ordering 7 Days to Die will give them exclusive access to 5 character skins from Telltale’s hit series, including Michonne and Lee Everett.

The console version of 7 Days to Die will also be supported by exciting DLC content, with details to be revealed very soon. Labeled as a “survival horde crafting game,” 7 Days to Die will officially drop on June 28th for the PS4 and Xbox One.
