That’s right! According to VRFocus, both forces are actively developing The Zombie Autopsies VR miniseries, which will “follow multiple points-of-view around the world” during an apocalypse filled with flesh eaters.

44 Blue Productions President and Co-Founder Stephanie Drachkovitch mentioned interest in exploring subject matters that will resonate with today’s audiences in VR.

We are absolutely captivated by The Zombie Autopsies and know these subject matters will resonate with today’s modern audiences. The role culture, society and technology have on the evolution of madness in the human psyche is extremely timely, while virtual reality is primed for the next long-form thriller.

At the moment there’s no official release date or distribution platform for the VR miniseries yet, but we’ll make sure to keep Yellers in the loop when we get the scoop at a later date.

Set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where military bases are humanity’s last city-states, Dead Alliance pits warring teams of players against each other for survival in a world ravaged by the zombie plague. It features a variety of single-player and 4v4 multiplayer modes, including Team Deathmatch, Free for All, King of the Hill, and Capture and Hold, as well as the MOBA-inspired Attrition mode and Solo Survival mode.

According to a press release on the weekend, the game will be rebuilt on Techland‘s next-gen engine, which promises to deliver a significant visual and performance overhaul, such as high-quality textures and improved-quality game models and geometry assets.

The remastered version of both Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide (including all previously released DLCs) is expected to launch this May on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC!

The addition of more sophisticated anti-aliasing means that console players can now experience
Dead Island without unsightly “jaggies“ – meaning a much cleaner look throughout

Improved-quality game models and geometry assets

All major geometry assets (for example: NPCs and character models) highlight a marked quality increase

HBAO and motion blur effects

The introduction of Horizon-based Ambient Occlusion adds a extra layer of depth and realism to the world
Through a better implementation of object shadows, while the all-new motion blur effects will provide a much more cinematic feel to the game experience.

Updated game UI

Providing a more consistent look between both Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide. Increase to equal quality level for seamless game experience.

The Dead Island Redux Collection will also of course take advantage of the latest console features such as Online 4 Player Co-op, PS Vita Remote-Play (PS4), Share-Play (PS4), streaming and recording

But wait there is more! Making its debut and added into the mix of flesh-rending zombie chaos is a new gem just waiting to be discovered! A classic side-scrolling/endless runner action game Dead Island Retro Revenge!

For starters, the filmmakers knew that this was a low-budget movie. And they made a low-budget movie. It’s nothing like Evil Dead, but the same spirit is there, in such a way as there’s a story to tell and the acting is formidable.

As well, the simple effects made a huge impact on the overall vibe of Live Evil. These effects include the Wizard of Oz-like switch from black and white to color and then the glowing eyes of the “possessed” (although I liked their glowing eyes better in black and white than in color).

As mentioned, there’s a possessed element to this movie. Essentially, a being or force, something that we never truly see and the characters in the movie refer to as “Evil,” ends up getting locked up in a local university’s jail cell. The compelling part of Evil is that those who set their eyes on it (and there’s a definite feeling that it’s a she) see someone from their past, someone who has wronged them in some way or another. The consequence being that the person will become so consumed with rage and lust for revenge that they will become possessed and come under the power of Evil.

The possessed act like zombies, with a bit more consciousness than usual, and that’s probably because, like ants or bees, they’re under the influence of Evil and her desire. I have to admit, it was nice to see “zombies” toting rifles and fighting rather than mindlessly feeding.

But, like strong-minded souls who aren’t susceptible to Jedi mind tricks, things are similar in Live Evil, especially where Deputy Hancock (Charlene Amoia) is concerned. She’s the heroine of the story, pulling people back from the brink of possession and leading the charge against Evil.

There are two characters, Mr. Eleven (Ed Ricker) and Mr. Twelve (Carter), who are super annoying. They walk and talk with the type of arrogance that makes you want to punch them in the face. I guess these guys, psychopaths in support of Evil, were supposed to be comic relief in a movie that didn’t need them.

The legendary Tony Todd even makes an appearance, as a priest. His cameo lent a Ken Foree (Dawn of the Dead, 1978) wisdom to the movie, but not much more than that, and it was way too brief.

The video is a live action story written by Monoxide and features the guys on a zombie-killing onslaught. The duo brought along horror-actor Bill Moseley (House of 1000 Corpses, The Devils Rejects) to star as “The Promoter.”

Coffin Comics announced Zack the Zombie Exterminator, a 96-page, full-color original graphic novel due for release December 2015. Zack is a horror-comedy that takes horror very seriously.

A year ago, Zombies started rising here and there. We expected the apocalypse. Instead, we got… pests. Zack Zander is a redneck metalhead with a talent for zombie splatting. And his whole family gets in on the action. Together, the Zanders make up Z-Gone, “semi-professional” zombie exterminators. And they showcase every second of gory mayhem on YouTube.

Overnight, Zack’s exploits catapult him from viral video joke to primetime hero. With fame come the spoils: cooler clothes, better gear, and a sexy sidekick.

But as Zack’s ego skyrockets and his family ties snap, a cooler crew of zombie killers challenge Z-Gone’s TV supremacy, The Dead Patrol. Soon Zack takes a fall, losing everything—his money, his family, his girl. To make matters worse, an ancient evil rears its ugly head, threatening to bring forth a hellish undead apocalypse.

Now, Zack has one chance to make things right. And all he has to do is kill a horde of flesh-hungry zombies and stop the god of Death from destroying the world.

Zack the Zombie Exterminator is co-written by Mike MacLean (Sharktopus, Dino-Croc vs. SuperGator, Piranhaconda) and Brian Pulido (Lady Death, Evil Ernie, Chaos! Comics, A Nightmare on Elm St., Friday The 13th, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Chucky) and fiendishly illustrated by industry newcomers Djibril Morissette-Phan (illustrator) and Ceci de la Cruz (color).

“It’s like Wayne’s World meets Dawn of the Dead,” says co-creator Brian Pulido. “The horror is real, but the characters’ reactions are where the comedy lies.”

After being one of the Wii U flagship titles in 2012, ZombiU or shall I say Zombi (retitled) will now be infecting next-gen platforms later this month.

That’s right! Ubisoft confirmed yesterday the nail-biting survival experience is heading straight to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 18, 2015. It has been optimized using the power of the latest generation of hardware to bring gamers to a new level of horror.

ZombiU is a first-person survival horror game set in London, in which the player assumes the role of a random survivor in a zombie apocalypse.

Players will experience the original oppressive and intense elements that made ZombiU so innovative. The bug-out bag is a necessary component for survival for each player as it contains all the player’s tools, inventory, first aid kits, maps and more. With permadeath, players are faced with a death mechanic which puts them in the body of a different survivor each time they die. In order to retain the equipment they previously gathered in their bug-out bag, they are forced to track down their old, infected character. Should players risk it all to get their bag back or start scavenging anew?
