Defo on the same level as u.there are many religious and esoteric references; the vampires represent the blue blood line , the twelve council members- no coincidence similar to twelve diciples or signes of astrology to rule over the ages/ millenias, notice the as above so below simbology with it altered exagerating the so below aspect as film is about the underworld..alexander as we no it so far is the creator(god) who created two kinds poss angels and men – vampires and beast or blue bloods and peasents again vampires and beasts…bla bla bla. maybe i look for things too much eh?!
