No.5 Junior dos Santos (“Cigano”)

Instead of waiting for Cain to recover, JDS is coaching TUF and fighting Brock at the end.

No.4 Brock Lesnar

After getting handled by Cain Velasquez, Lesnar drops out of the top 3. After many rumours about his status, Lesnar will fight Junior dos Santos after filming TUF.

No.3 Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva

Silva put the legendary Fedor Ememlianenko closer to retirement with a doctor stoppage in Strikeforce’s heavyweight tournament.

No.2 Cain Velasquez

A dominating win over Brock Lesnar puts Velasquez into the #2 spot. Unfortunately, an injury puts him on the shelf for quite some time.

No.1 Fabricio Werdum (“Vai Cavalo”)

To be the man, you have to beat the man. And Werdum beat the man, handing Fedor Emelianenko his first legitimate loss of the Russian’s MMA career. He’ll take on Alistair Overeem in the Strikeforce heavyweight tournament quarterfinals later this year.

What kind of a moron do you have to be to rank Junior Dos Santos #5 and Fabricio Werdum #1?

Sorry man! This list was created a while ago. We haven’t had a chance to create a new top 10 with the most recent wins in the heavyweight division. Yes, Junior would have to rank in as number 1 right now.
