If you are a Montreal resident, and you haven’t been paying any attention to the Montreal ComicCon news feed. May I add “coolest comic book convention” the city of Montreal has to offer. Then have no fear, William Shatner is here to save the day. Sorry, I mean us, Yell! Magazine is here to help remind you of the new guests that have been added to the celebrity roster.
You can bet your money that two great cartoonist will join the convention that is set to beginning on Friday, September 14, 2012.
First up, Playboy cartoonist Doug Sneyd will make his appearance at ComicCon. Doug had over 450 full-page color cartoons published in Playboy since 1964. Second, Terry Mosher also known as “Aislin” will also appear at the event. Aislin is a Canadian political cartoonist for the Montreal Gazette, but also had drawings in numerous international publications, such as Punch, The Atlantic Monthly, Harper’s, Time, and The Washington Star just to name a few.
Lastly, you may have also noticed that the official 2012 Montreal ComicCon poster above has been shatnerized, and was made public this past Monday. Benoit Godbout is the artist who created the fantastic poster.
