Next week, Avalanche Studios will be launching the third installment in the open world action-adventure video game franchise, Just Cause. Ahead of its anticipated release, the developer involved behind the game has released a brand new “dev diary” video for Just Cause 3, which focuses on how the developer is using its own game engine, along with third-party tools like Havok Destruction, to help bring the world to life in Just Cause 3, which was previously less possible to incorporate in the last two entries.
Just Cause 3 continues to be over-the-top action video game, which is much less grounded as other open world titles like like Grand Theft Auto V and Saints Row IV. The video above demonstrates how players can use the grappling hook while flying through the skies in a wingsuit, which wasn’t entirely available in Just Cause 2.
Just Cause 3 is a single-player-only experience, without any multiplayer mode confirmed for launch. It’s slated for release on December 1, 2015 across PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
