Today, EA’s plan was to “celebrate a new era of Battlefield,” and surprise the media with Battlefield 4 during the 2013 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, California, and ahead of the beta launch later this year.
However, before the party got started, “someone” left screenshots of the game on a public directory on the Battlefield blog. Thankfully, a few sources like Gamespot got their hands on them before they got noticed by the webmaster, and we have the stunning leaked screenshots from Battlefield 4 here for you to check out.
As you can tell, the level of detail in the screens are quite high, and they look far more developed than concept art. If you thought Battlefield 3 looked incredible, I have a strong feeling Battlefield 4 will impressive you even more.
So far, no official release date has been announced yet, but you can expect the first gameplay trailer to be out tomorrow.
