We are five days away from Halloween, and we hope you have already selected a costume and are ready to rock on October 31st. If you haven’t, you can always take a quick look at our list of single costume ideas, or if you plan on celebrating with partner in crime, then check out our list of double costume ideas, as well. We’ve got enough ideas floating around this year, so you shouldn’t have any excuse for not dressing up.
However, since we are a few days away, Halloween masks might be a solution for you, but I’m warning you, they can be pricey. Although, masks are usually hideous and cheap looking, they should ONLY be considered as a final resort, unless you pick one out from our Top 5 Halloween Masks below.

No.5 Fox, Lamb, Tiger (Mask Set)
Price: $99 | You’re Next (2011)
First up, a set of replica masks from this summers horror hit, You’re Next, directed by Adam Wingard and written by Simon Barrett. It grossed over $25 million since its theatrical release, but aside from box office success, the film features three awesome masks worn by the murderers. Fox, lamb, and tiger should be on your hit list this Halloween. The masks are pretty cheap too. You can pick up the set, and have it shipped on time for $99.
No.4 Skull, Pumpkin, Witch (Mask Set)
Price: $149 | Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)
More replica masks, but these ones are inspired by a horror classic produced by John Carpenter and Debra Hill, Halloween III: Season of the Witch. It’s arguably the worst threequel in the history of horror because the film doesn’t feature Michael Myers. But if you look at it as a standalone, and as a seperate story about witchcraft, then Halloween III is actually phenomenal. If the film was successful, the fourth installment would have been a ghost story. Unfortunately, it wasn’t, but it still has a strong following by horror fans.
Halloween III features three masks, skull, pumpkin, and witch that appear throughout the movie. You can purchase them as a complete set just in time for October 31st.
No.3 Marcus Miller
Price: $37.99 | The Orphan Killer (2011)
The Orphan Killer was banned in Germany for a few ugly reasons that are common to slasher fans, but should be avoided by anyone who is easily sickened or disturbed by graphic images. The film is truly shocking, bloody, and brutal, and it birthed a new iconic masked monster that is just as evil as Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers. Marcus Miller is a mix of both, and he’s here to stay since two more installments are in the works by Matt Farnsworth, including a web series.
Priced at $37, you can’t go wrong with this mask. Pick this one up and slash your way into the next Halloween party. Axe not included.
No.2 Flayed Frank
Price: $569.95 | Hellraiser (1987)
Clive Barker’s Hellraiser was released in 1987, and it became an instant horror classic because it was somewhat more unique compared to all the other horror releases in the late ’80s. Just too many Stephen King adaptation’s and zombie flicks, in my opinion. Hellraiser also had one hell of a cast of extra-dimensional beings, known as “Cenobites.” In the film, the Cenobites’ leader, Pinhead, was summoned by Kristy after she solved the puzzle box that opened a portal to another world. Pinhead tried to force Kristy back to their realm with him, but she suggested giving them Frank in exchange for her freedom.
Frank is the flayed corpse seen throughout the film feeding on blood in the attic. His horrific face is almost as iconic as Pinhead. Frank still remains one the most memorable characters in horror cinema. This pro silicon mask by CFX has a big price tag, but it’s a quality piece and should fit like a glove. If you’ve got the cash, I recommend picking this one up in a heartbeat.
No.1 The Handsome Guy
Price: $810.00 | Drive (2011)
It’s true! Drive is far from anything horror, or even close to resembling any of the films we mentioned above. However, this film, directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, is completely strange, strange in a Kubrick kind of way, and we like that. Drive is a film that’s completely out of the box and refreshing to me, I enjoyed every minute of it. Ryan Gosling stars as “the driver,” and at one point in the film he dons a mask to disguise himself from the crime family he owes money to.
That mask is called “the handsome guy” and it’s currently available for purchase from SPFX Masks. In fact, I think this replica I found is the same one used in Drive.
