Well, Yellers! Halloween is a mere week away. If you haven’t yet thought of a costume, the time is now if you want to do something more than a last-minute run to the local temporary Halloween store for an off-the-hanger atrocity.
Now, understand that we haven’t done much in the way of creating anything, all that is owed to the young licensed esthetician, self-taught make-up artist and body painter who started her own YouTube channel, MadeYewLook. We came across her tutorial for creating Eddie, the Iron Maiden mascot, and looking to see what else she had to offer, discovered her rich series of face-/body-painting videos. Unfortunately, she hasn’t done any other heavy metal mascots, but she has some truly iconic characters in her bag of tricks.
Except for the zombie bite, none of her creations presented here require latex. Just make-up, brushes, and contact lenses.
Now, we couldn’t paint a our way out of a wet paper bag, but if you have an ounce of artistic ability, then give any one of these MadeYewLook make-up tutorials a try.
