Love is Gaspar Noe‘s first feature film since 2009’s Enter the Void. The melodrama made its debut in 3D at the Cannes Film Festival in May to all sorts of wide-ranging reactions, which is pretty typical for a film directed by Noe. Apparently, Love features some of the most hardcore onscreen sex ever to screen at the film festival. Yeah, it beats out Lars Von Trier’s sex epic Nymphomaniac, but only because Trier’s film couldn’t compete at Cannes in 2013.
Anyhow, an explicit trailer (NSFW) has been released today, giving viewers a short glimpse at Noe’s third dimension intimacy flick that he has been itching to shoot since the completion of Enter the Void. The film stars Karl Glusman and Aomi Muyock, a drama which centers on an American in Paris as he falls in love and experiments with drugs and a sexual threesome.
Love opens in France on July 15, 2015.
