It’s been a while since we posted any new updates on The Neon Demon, and we apologize for that, but horror fans will be happy to hear that we have something better than news to share today. Ahead of the films premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, Amazon Studios has released the first official trailer for The Neon Demon, starring Elle Fanning and Keanu Reeves.
Directed by Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, Bronson), the horror film is set in the sinister side of Los Angeles and centers “on an aspiring model who moves to Los Angeles where her youth and vitality are devoured by a group of beauty-obsessed women who will go to any lengths to get what she has.”
The Neon Demon also stars Christina Hendricks, Jena Malone, Abbey Lee, and Bela Heathcoat. It’s expected to hit theaters this summer.
