Do you need a good taste of what The Evil Within will be like before the big launch in October? If so, you’ve come to the right place. The game’s publisher Bethesda Softworks just released a full one hour of gameplay footage from the survival horror that puts you in the shoes of detective Sebastian Castellanos as he wakes up in a deranged world where hideous creatures wander among the dead.
The game is played from a third-person perspective in which scavenging for supplies and learning when to fight or run are key factors in surviving. Sebastian will need to make use of the environment if he wants to survive whatever is thrown at him.
For the best viewing experience, we recommend you turn down the lights and turn up the volume. We promise The Evil Within will make you shit your pants.
