Earlier this month, the Foo Fighters took up residency on Letterman, and it seems that a trend has begun.
Next month, from November 17th-21st, Metallica will squat on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. On opening night, Ferguson will interview the entire band, and you probably don’t want to miss it since he personally requested the band’s presence to sing him out as his final broadcast approaches.
Despite Lars Ulrich telling Rolling Stone that they have “Nothing to sell, nothing to promote,” Metallica’s 10-anniversary reissue of Some Kind of Monster will be released on November 24th and a Record Store Day pressing of the track “Lords of Summer” will be available on Black Friday.
Ferguson’s final broadcast will be in December.
