Ryan Murphy (yeah, the guy responsible for Glee, but also accountable for American Horror Story) is heading the charge as producer on another TV series. Scream Queens is the horror/comedy’s title, and it’s actually a 15-episode TV movie.
The news today, according to Deadline, is that horror legend, Jamie Lee Curtis, and horror newcomer Emma Roberts have signed on for leading roles in the upcoming series. There’s no word yet on their upcoming roles.
Curtis’ horror credentials speak for themselves, as she’s starred in the Halloween franchise, Prom Night, The Fog, Terror Train, etc.). Roberts, who is associated with Murphy via American Horror Story, also starred in Scream 4.
We’ll keep you posted as details emerge about Scream Queens.
