In December, A&E teased the upcoming Bates Motel season with a 30-second trailer, which paid homage to the infamous “peep hole” scene from Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 classic, Psycho. Although, the teaser didn’t reveal anything other than Norman as a little pervert while we were hoping for the actual premiere date of the show. Three weeks later, the network has decided to announce it. So, when is it coming? The 10-episode third season of Bates Motel hits A&E on March 9, 2015.
The third season will feature recurring cast members such as, Freddie Highmore as Norman Bates, Vera Farmiga as Norman’s mother, Norma Louise Bates, and Max Thieriot as Norman’s half-brother, Dylan Massett. In addition, Revolution‘s Tracy Spiridakos has been added and she will play as Annika Johnson, a mystery woman who shows up at the establishment.
