It’s a really rare occasion that I touch anything from the genre A Skylit Drive belong to, but their newest single and video, “Bring Me a War,” touches something within me. It’s nice to see a modern band touching on social issues, especially in our current state with tensions running high. Not only are we a nation at war abroad, but we’re also at war within our borders. From racial tensions to political tensions to our relationship with police forces. All of this, and more, needs to be addressed in a way that reaches young people, and A Skylit Drive are doing just that. Not only that, but they’re delivering a pretty damn good song.
