The Walking Dead Season 4

Sadly, The Walking Dead is three episodes away from wrapping up Season 3, which had its ups and downs throughout every episode so far, but still a strong season in my opinion and I’m looking forward to the highly anticipated showdown between the tribe and The Governor, including his army of thugs. Considering the season is nearly over and most of the filming was completed last year, Season 4 is moving forward and in development with Scott M. Gimple taking over as the new showrunner, the position previously held by Glen Mazzara. Additionally, it’s reported that new writers are hired to bulk up the team of scribes.

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news earlier today, confirming Curtis Gwinn, Channing Powell, and Matt Negrete will work together, among other writers from previous episodes to solidify Season 4.

As for what you should expect in the next season, executive producer Robert Kirkman said,

“We’ve always been sort of moving in and out of the comic book, and I think that we’re going to continue to do that. I think that there are huge elements of the comic book in Season 3. Moving into Season 4, it’s going to be pretty much the same…”
