Ubisoft’s new 2.5D Assassin’s Creed spin-off will span three different games with each one told in different time periods and settings. The first one takes place in a 16th Century China setting along with a new female protagonist. Her name is Shao Jun, and you may remember her from the Assassin’s Creed Embers short. That’s where she was first introduced and now players can control her in the very first side-scrolling game in the franchise.
In Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China players will get to experience famous locations like the Maijishan Grottoes, the Port of Macau, the Forbidden City, and the Great Wall of China. Obviously, Shao Jun is rigged with amazing weapons like any other assassin in the series, she is equipped with a secret shoe blade, rope darts, and daggers. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China launches tomorrow for PlayStation 4 and PC. The Xbox One edition arrives on April 22, 2015.
