Assassin’s Creed Rogue Announced For PS3 And Xbox 360 [VIDEO]

Ubisoft quickly squashed the rumor today after a new Assassin’s Creed game trailer leaked this morning on Dailymotion. The two-minute cinematic trailer revealed Assassin’s Creed Rogue, a sequel that takes place in the middle of the 18th century and will tie together story elements between Assassin’s Creed 3 and Black Flag. Apparently, it’ll also tie into the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Unity.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue is now officially announced and it drops exclusively on November 11th for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Martin Capel, game director at Ubisoft Sofia, stated:

We know that there are many Assassin’s Creed fans with Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles who want to get their hands on a new Assassin’s Creed game this year. Assassin’s Creed Rogue completes the North American saga started with Assassin’s Creed 3 and Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and gives previous-generation console owners an exclusive opportunity to experience fan-requested features, such as playing as a Templar.

I guess this officially means that Ubisoft has no intention on giving up older consoles anytime soon.
