Scorned (2013) Review – “You Scorned Me”
Will the themes presented in Fatal Attraction ever get old? Not likely, since infidelity is as much prime horror/thriller grounds [.....]
I might be stubborn and pig-headed, but I'm usually right. Such a great way to kick this thing off; it's certainly the best way to get respect from your readers. Well, let's make this as quick and painless as possible: I've been a hard rock/metal fan since grade school and believe Eddie Van Halen to be the greatest to ever touch a fret board. Bite me if you don't agree. And arguing with me about it would be like debating God's existence with the pope. I'm also a huge KISS fan, so much so that my former boss at an online men's magazine that excels at being mediocre called me on it during my annual formal review - goes like this: Boss: "...and you reference KISS too much in meetings... they aren't a reference point for anything..." Me: "Fuck you!" Well, it didn't exactly go down that way, but I did end up quitting. Really, with all the success and influence and business savvy that KISS embodies, they certainly were a reference point for most of the "ideals" that this so-called men's site claimed to uphold. True story, however, I did throw a college roommate into a closet for saying that KISS didn't have any talent. Enough about that. My favorite horror genres are zombie and vampire, but ghost stories and religious horror are what really freak me out. I'm not difficult to please and as long as I'm entertained, I'll probably like it. That's not to say, however, that I can't see something for what it is: if it looks and smells like shit, it's shit, right? Rock Hard!
