When is Bates Motel returning on A&E? We finally know the answer to that mysterious question. It’s been revealed through various sources that Season 2 will premiere on March 3, 2014. Mark it down in your calendar! Exactly a month away from today, Bates Motel is expected to continue with 10 more episodes featuring series duo Norma and Norman Bates.
There is no title or detail yet on the first episode, but we know that Season 2 will introduce new characters, such Paloma Kwiatkowski, who will play Norman’s new love interest. Michael Vartan will play the role of George, a recent divorcee who becomes Norma’s new lover. Apparently, they first meet at a party thrown by George’s sister, and he doesn’t harbor any particularly dark secrets in his past.
In addition to those names, Michael Eklund will play Zane Carpenter, a high-level player in Dylan’s drug organization. Rebecca Creskoff and Kenny Johnson will both have roles in connection with Norma.
