In June, when Batman: Arkham Knight launched for the PC platform the game was ridiculed for enormous amounts of bugs it had. It was so bad that Steam was forced to remove it because of all the complaints and subsequently Arkham Knight was removed from sale.
Publisher Warner Bros. is now confident the highly anticipated third instalment in the Batman game franchise is ready to hit the market again. In a statement released on Saturday, Warner Bros. officially announced Arkham Knight will re-launch on PC on October 28, 2015, three days before Halloween.
At 10 am PDT, Oct. 28th, Batman: Arkham Knight will be re-released for the PC platform. At the same time we’ll also be releasing a patch that brings the PC version fully up-to-date with content that has been released for console (with the exception of console exclusives).
This means that next week, all PC players will have access to Photo Mode, Big Head Mode, Batman: Arkham Asylum Batman Skin, and character selection in combat AR challenges.
In addition, they also confirmed everyone who bought the DLC passes will get instant access to all add-on content since Arkham Knight launched. So no waiting games here folks!
We want to give particular thanks to the members of the PC community who took the time to give us clear, detailed feedback and bug reporting. Now, get out there and be The Batman!
