German heavy metal outfit, Varg (the name comes from Norse mythology and means “wolf,” and in particular the monstrous wolf Fenrir) has recently released a new track from their latest album, Das Ende aller Lügen. If you’re itching for something that combines the black metal image with something like a bastard child shared by Rammstein and DevilDriver, “Achtung” is your jam tonight. Check it out in the player above and tell us what you think in our comments section below.
Personally, I love it. From the chant of “Achtung” to the rhythmic crunch of the guitars to the killer cannibalistic video, I love it all. I know, I know… there’s nothing spectacular about it, and certainly nothing original, but it still kicks ass.
If you’re interested, you can order Das Ende aller Lügen here.
And if you really dig it, Varg will hit the road on the Wolfsfest-Tour in March and April 2016. Catch this chance to see the wolves live on the road together with their label mates in Nachtblut, Eisregen, We Butter the Bread with Butter, and many more!
