That’s right, the iconic horror figure from the Halloween movies is coming your way as part of the Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught DLC for PS3, PS4, and PC. You’ll be able to play as Michael Myers, with an ax and the Halloween theme music, if you complete a special Field Order on the Fog multiplayer map of the DLC.
There are three other multiplayer maps on the Onslaught DLC (Bayview, Containment, and Ignition), plus there’s Nightfall, which is some new material contained in the alien-themed Extinction mode.
If all this sounds familiar to you, it’s because we reported on the COD: Ghosts Onslaught DLC for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One last month. So, why is it only coming to PlayStation and PC a month later? Because there’s a Microsoft/Activision one-month exclusive deal, which doesn’t make much sense to me. I would venture to guess that most people playing COD: Ghosts only have one console, so I’m not sure what advantage such an exclusive has. I’m probably overlooking some nuance that’l have me saying, “Ooohhh, now I see… and I’m a dumbass.”
If you bought COD‘s $50 season pass, the DLC comes as part of that. If you didn’t, you can buy the DLC for just $15.
