Ubisoft may have fooled some people into thinking Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is a complete hoax on April Fools’ Day, but in recent days Blood Dragon is looking to be very real in fact. What started off as a funny prank on gamers has turned into a cat-and-mouse game, as a group of Russian hackers got a hold of Blood Dragon via an exploit through Ubisoft’s uPlay PC download services. Hence, they played the game and leaked over 30-minutes of footage, which has been removed by the publisher.
Additionally, Blood Dragon has also appeared on the Xbox Live marketplace, listing it as a standalone FPS with a release date slated for May 1, 2013. So for those who don’t have a copy of Far Cry 3 can still enjoy this ’80s retro version that features the radness of Michael Biehn (Terminator, Aliens).
