Duff McKagan Gets His Walking Papers

Guns N’ Roses fans certainly know Duff McKagan and his legitimacy as a true rocker… and a total finance guy. If you haven’t followed his career after G N’ R or Velvet Revolver, you really owe it to yourself to check out his band Loaded. However, the latest news surrounding Duff is the new band that he’s in, Walking Papers. Hailing from Seattle, Walking Papers also features drummer Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees, Mad Season), singer-guitarist Jeff Angell (Missionary Position), and keyboardist Benjamin Anderson (Missionary Position). Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready also lent his skills on a few of the tracks.

The Walking Papers

Although, Walking Papers independently released their self-titled debut last year, the album is getting a proper release with Loud & Proud Records behind it. Walking Papers is due to hit the streets on August 6th. Until then, you’ll have to be contented with the bluesy and thought-provoking lyric video for “The Whole World’s Watching.” You can also look forward to seeing Walking Papers on the 2013 Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival, starting August 9th (dates below).
