Yesterday, Techland teased that something is coming out for its new first-person survival horror, Dying Light, in a 40-second trailer. Some people assumed a demo would be released today, but guess what? That wasn’t the idea behind that teaser, instead Techland and Warner Bros. figured another trailer would be enough to satisfy Dead Island fans. Boy, were they wrong! Fans are actually pretty pissed from what I read on message boards, including the comments on YouTube.
We all obviously want more by now, a demo would be nice, but what the heck, they ain’t listening to us. Check out the new “humanity” trailer if you want to see more gameplay footage. That’s all your going to get!
About Dying Light
During the day, players will traverse an expansive urban environment overrun by a vicious outbreak, scavenging the world for supplies and crafting weapons to defend against the growing infected population. At night, the hunter becomes the hunted, as the infected become aggressive and more dangerous. Most frightening are the predators, which only appear after sundown. Players must use everything in their power to survive until the morning’s first light.
