After you watch this new gameplay demo of Ubisoft’s The Division, I promise you’ll jump out of your chair and scream, “Wow, holy shit!” This game really is revolutionary in terms of realism. The mechanics don’t look all that impressive since it seems similar to Gears of War, but the level of detail and atmosphere is just astonishing. Plus, the gadgets and tactical gunplay look like a whole lot of fun. So far, I’m sensing The Division is going to be the most promising next-gen game of 2015. That’s right! Didn’t you already know it got delayed to 2015?
In the video clip above, “a squad of agents work their way through the ruins of New York to combat deadly opposing factions and bring order to a city lost to a pandemic.”
Make sure you watch the clip if you plan on picking this one up next year.
About Tom Clancy’s The Division
We live in a complex world. The more advanced it gets, the more vulnerable it becomes. We’ve created a house of cards. Remove just one, and everything falls apart. On Black Friday, a devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City, and one by one, basic services fail. In only days, without food or water, society collapses into chaos. The Division, an autonomous unit of tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives among us, these agents are trained to operate independently in order to save society.
When society falls, your mission begins.
