It has been somewhat of a year of firsts for Fates Warning: first headlining U.S. tour (which was just completed), first album for InsideOutMusic, and first album in roughly a decade. Now the band has just released their latest music video for “Firefly,” which comes off their latest album, Darkness In a Different Light. The video was was directed David Solbjørg and Kjetil Kolbjørnsrud of Twitchyfilms.
Fates Warning vocalist Ray Alder provides some insight into the video for “Firefly”:

During their recent North American tour, Fates Warning also stopped by at FoxCT to perform the song “Firefly” acoustically in the TV studio. Watch the interview and footage here:
OK, the album version is powerful, but there’s something about the acoustic version that’s very compelling. Am I right?
