Fight Amputation is a stripped-down, grungy, noise rock outfit hailing from Philadelphia, and they’ve just unleashed their new, low-fi music video for “Ex Everything.” It’s “low-fi” because it was shot on an old VHS camera, as the band explained to New Noise Magazine:
If you aren’t already aware, we sort of have a soft spot for outdated technology. So it only made sense to shoot the first video for Constantly Off straight to an old VHS camera handed down by our high school’s A.V. Club to director Steve Perrong. Throw in a touch of tin foil hat conspiracy, and the 24 hour news cycle, and there you have our new video for ‘Ex Everything.’ This was a lot of fun to make, hope you enjoy.
Constantly Off, the band’s first new record in three years, was released last week via Brutal Panda Records. The album was recorded in August 2014 at Gradwell House Studios in Haddon Heights, NJ with engineer Steve Poponi (Ladder Devils, Fight Amp, Into It, Over It). Stream the entire new album here.
Constantly Off was released on limited edition LP with the artwork available in three different colors covers including pink (sold out), yellow/royal blue and black. Orders are available here. A limited-edition cassette version will be released by Lost Tape Collective (pre-order here), while CD and digital versions are available here.
