Friday The 13th: The Game – Camp Crystal Lake Environment Fly-Throughs Footage Revealed [VIDEO]

Horror icon Jason Voorhees is unleashed again and stalking the grounds of Camp Crystal Lake in an upcoming asymmetrical multiplayer. Formerly known as Summer Camp and now officially titled Friday the 13th: The Game will come to fruition in October 2016 if Gun Media raises enough money through Kickstarter to finish the game.

With 9 days left to go to reach its $700,000 fundraising goal (currently at $613,739), the developer has released a new video teasing 1080p fly-through shots from in and around Camp Crystal Lake taken in-engine from the game’s pre-alpha build. So don’t expect to see Jason here, but creepy environment footage only.

This is the first Friday the 13th game since 1989 where one player controls Jason while the remaining seven control camp counselors trying to survive the night. Expect to see familiar faces returning such as Sean S. Cunningham, Tom Savini, Kane Hodder, and Harry Manfredini involved in the game’s development, along with co-creator/designers Wes Keltner and Ronnie Hobbs and more.

If the Kickstarter campaign is successful, then the game will become available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Stay tuned to Yell! Magazine for more updates to come.
