Legendary horror villain Jason Voorhees will be unleashed next year in the first official Friday the 13th video game since 1989. Ahead of its anticipated release and just days after reaching its Kickstarter goal, the developers have revealed another rare glimpse into the prototype build of the game, which features Jason stalking a camp counselor at Crystal Lake. And guess what? She doesn’t get away, so fans of the movie franchise will be very pleased to see Jason kill again. But since all of the assets like character models and animations are just temporary, you won’t see anything spectacular. Let’s hope Tom Savini gets involved at some point to enhance the gore here.
The developers promise the art, sound effects, music and gameplay are not final by any means and are not indicative of what the game will look and sound like at release. So expect killer graphics in fall 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
