I’m sure many of you were skeptical when you first heard Resident Evil 7 Biohazard was going to be in first person perspective, but I think the following new clips will persuade you otherwise. I was in the same boat once I watched the Vol.6 “Immortal” promo clip, which made me change my mind. It looks mind blowing and much more realistic looking than ever before.
The first person perspective totally makes sense now since the Resident Evil franchise is targeting VR mode. In Fact, RE7 will be one of the first AAA games to be completely playable in VR as an option from start to finish, or any part thereof, when it releases on PlayStation 4.
The flexibility of the optional PlayStation VR Mode included with the game gives players complete control over how much they want to engage in the immersive and terrifying VR experience.
RE7 will return to the series roots with signature gameplay features including exploration, puzzles and interacting in a realistic tense atmosphere. The classic inventory system returns but with limited space meaning players must choose what they carry with them carefully, making sure they remember to pack their green herbs!
Resident Evil 7 Biohazard will be available January 24th, 2017.
