When you combine a special effects wizard and horror, you usually get something that’s visually stunning and hopefully bloody and terrifying. You can count all three descriptives for the new creature-feature Gehenna: Where Death Lives. The new horror movie was directed, produced, and co-written by special effects master Hiroshi Katagiri, who has worked at Stan Winston Studios and with with Steven Spielberg on Jurassic Park, A.I., and War of the Worlds, as well as on other projects like Pacific Rim, The Hunger Games, and Aliens vs Predator: Requiem. Oh, and since he’s known for special effects, he also did those for Gehenna.
