Former reigning UFC welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre has some fresh progress on his upcoming return bout in the UFC.
Following months of speculation, GSP finally inked a bout agreement for a UFC 217 superfight with middleweight titleholder Michael Bisping in New York. Both fighters have lobbied publically for this fight before it was announced and now the fight appears to be officially set in stone for November.
On Wednesday, GSP revealed the following image on Instagram,
Bisping vs. GSP was originally announced at the beginning of the year, but due to injuries a date and location was never attached to the middleweight title bout. The UFC had plans to cancel the fight entirely because of delays, however, they recently changed their stance and booked it for New York.
The contest takes place on November 4th at Madison Square Garden.
