For the past two years, GWAR has gone into the A.V. Club to perform a cover song as part of the A.V. Undercover Series. In both years the mutants were named the victors of the most popular performance. This year, the first without Oderus Urungus, should be no different as GWAR, with newcomers Blóthar and Vulvatron, belts out a kick-ass version of the Pet Shop Boys’ ‘80s classic, “West End Girls.”
More than that, GWAR segued into a heartfelt rendition of Jim Carroll’s “People Who Died.”
