It’s not as revealing as the red band trailer, which paints the film in an extrodinary vulgar light, but it shows enough for me to know that I have no interest in seeing it. I don’t like these spoof movies to begin with, they always make bad jokes out of easy targets, but this one seems to sink to new depths of stupidity without much effort being put into it. Seriously, how funny is it to ask, “What happened to all your furniture?” and then to drop said furniture on the asker?
Just like most of us, I’m tired of the found-footage trend and it’s ripe for some comedic nudging, but A Haunted House looks like a failure.
