Formed in 2001, Pop Evil is a pretty basic hard rock band. On their 2011 release, War of Angels (on May 14, 2013, they released their latest effort Onyx), there’s a track called “Boss’s Daughter” and the video features Motley Crue’s Mick Mars and Playboy Playmate Miss July 2011, Jessa Hinton. Let your imagination take hold and you’ll have a pretty good idea where this video is headed.
No.4 The 69 Eyes – “Dead Girls Are Easy”
Here’s a video from a “goth ‘n’ roll” band that’s right up our alley. Featuring sexy vampire girls, “Dead Girls Are Easy” premiered on Playboy.com – how sexy is that? The 69 Eyes have been around since 1989 and have gone through a few phases in their sound. “Dead Girls Are Easy” comes off 2009 Back in Blood album.
No.3 Jettblack – “Raining Rock”
I know that this is the second sexy Heavy Metal video from Jettblack, but this one wins on so many levels. It has a great post-apocalyptic story with freaks in control, it’s a great sleaze metal jam, it’s funny, and the chicks are hot. Formed in 2007, these English rockers have two albums under their belt, and I’m sure there’s more to come.
No.2 Airbourne – “Blonde, Bad & Beautiful”
Australian outfit, Airbourne, is all about party music and having a good time. The video for “Blonde, Bad & Beautiful” takes the idea of injecting sexy women into a rock video to a whole new level. T&A Airlines is an airline I think we’d all like to take. While the video is just as raunchy as some of the others on this list, there seems to less of an objectifying quality to it, and I don’t know why that is.
No.1 Wildstreet – “Easy Does It”
If there’s any proof that sleaze/glam metal is coming back, it’s Wildstreet. These New Yorkers formed in 2006 and with a full-length, an EP, and a single out there, we’re due for another full album. They’ve shared the stage with the outgoing guard and also with a number of their contemporaries. But that’s probably not selling you on them. What will is the video for “Easy Does It.” Yeah, it’s more strippers, but this one includes tattoo model, Jesse Lee Denning.
