There’s enough buzz going around right now for I Spit On Your Grave 2 to make anyone’s head spin, and we need to jump on the same bandwagon before the hype is all over next month. Why is everyone talking about this sequel? Because it will be shocking, brutal, bloody, and terrifying like the critically acclaimed 2010 remake directed by Steven R. Monroe. Take my word, it was pretty sick in my recollection.
Even the 1978 original still remains just as controversial today, and it was one of the few releases of it’s time to put “rape and revenge” films on the forefront in the exploitation scene. Including Wes Craven’s 1972 classic, Last House on the Left. Once you’ve seen this kind of films, you just can’t get it out of your head. No wonder that kick ass ad campaign ‘It’s only a movie’…” for Last House worked so damn well. Personally, I think It would be so cool If they brought it back for the exclusive theatrical release of I Spit On Your Grave 2 in Los Angeles on Friday, September, 20th, 2013. Unfortunately, I doubt it will be promoted in mainstream theaters.
Anyway, a new trailer just dropped for the film, and will also be available on Blu-ray, DVD, and On Demand on Tuesday, September 24, 2013.
