In the making-of clip (above), story consultant Jon Croker tells us a bit about the process of making In Fear, directed by Jeremy Lovering. If you’re wondering what this thrill ride is all about, you can read the synopsis below, but we really like what Croker told us was some of Lovering’s direction: “It’s a home-invasion movie, but set in a car.” Yup, we still think that sounds terrifying. It’s also interesting how Lovering kept the fate of the characters a secret even from the actors playing them. Really, would you want to know if you were going to live or die?
In Fear will have a limited theatrical run in the U.S. starting March 7th, and the subsequent Blu-ray, DVD, and VOD release on March 11th.

In Fear Synopsis:
When young couple Tom (Iain De Caestecker of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and Lucy (Alice Englert of Beautiful Creatures) lose their way while driving to a music festival in the remote Irish countryside, they find themselves trapped in a maze of back-roads with only their vehicle for protection, terrorized by an unseen tormentor hell-bent on exploiting their worst nightmares. Driving, lost and tormented in the night, primal anxieties of the dark and the unknown take hold as the couple realizes that they may have to let the evil in, or that it is already there. Allen Leech (Downton Abbey) co-stars in this shattering debut feature by writer/director Jeremy Lovering.
