by After bringing you the official poster for Insidious: Chapter 3 earlier this week, we’re pleased to bring you the new, and rather long, trailer for the new movie. Leigh Whannell, who co-created both the SAW and Insidious franchises, sits in the director’s chair for this prequel, taking place before the terrifying events that happened to the Lambert family. Hopefully he can up the ante on the standards James Wan set with the first two films.
Insidious: Chapter 3 stars Dermot Mulroney, Stefanie Scott, Lin Shaye, Angus Sampson, and Whannell, the latter three picking up their roles from the first two movies in the franchise.
Focus Features will release Insidious: Chapter 3 in the U.S. on June 5, 2015.
