Iron Maiden never ceases to amaze fans year after year with their amazing theatrical performances during a live show. As the English heavy metal band approaches its 40th year, they show no signs of slowing down, especially on Bruce Dickinson part, who has a serious passion for aviation. At the latest Soniphere show, he teamed up with Trooper Beer and The Great War Display Team in the skies over Knebworth for one crazy ass air show that fans will likely never forget.
In the video clip above, you’ll watch Dickinson maneuver a Fokker DR1 replica and reenact a WWI dogfight. The special event took place right before Iron Maiden hit the stage at Sonisphere earlier this month.
