Andrew W.K. has just released a video for “It’s Time to Party,” which comes off I Get Wet 10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition. This 2-disc Deluxe Edition has been digitally remastered and features alternate and live versions of AWK’s party classics, like “Party Hard” and “Fun Night.”

I’ve never appreciated AWK or his brand, and I still don’t, but for some reason the video for “It’s Time to Party” makes me think of Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, so it can’t be all bad, right?
In other news, Andrew W.K. is going to kill magician David Blaine. As part of Blaine’s Ultrabook Experience event, he will have Andrew W.K. perform a keyboard solo, sending 1 million volts through Blaine’s body, which will last for three days and three nights.
Andrew’’s electric keyboard solo will take place this Sunday (October 7) at West Street/11th Avenue and 13th Street in downtown Manhattan at 7:30 p.m. EST. Audiences around the world will also be able to control the Tesla coils through Ultrabook stations in cities worldwide, while the entire event will be continuously live-streamed at: www.youtube.com/electrified
