Ex-UFC fighter, Jason “Mayhem” Miller made headlines again this past weekend after a video surfaced of him resisting arrest outside a nightclub in Laguna Beach, California. In the video, it’s unclear what caused the arrest, however, Laguna PD Sergeant Tim Kleiser released new information on the recent Miller incident.
According to Kleiser, Miller was put into custody after causing a scene at the White House restaurant and nightclub around 11:19 p.m., specifically breaking glass inside the business. When Miller left the restaurant by foot to head back to the nightclub, a group of officers confronted “Mayhem.” Soon after the confrontation, Miller started to engage the officers in a fight. Sergeant Kleiser said it took four officers to restrain Miller and put him in the back of a police cruiser. While en route to the Orange County jail, Miller tried to kick out the cruiser’s window.
Miller is pleading not guilty to the charges. He is now waiting for his pre-trial hearing, which is scheduled to take place on May 11, 2015.
