Denver-based doom metal quartet, Khemmis, will see the release of their debut album, Absolution, on July 7th (with the vinyl coming in August), via 20 Buck Spin. Today, however, the band has their latest single, “Ash, Cinder, Smoke,” streaming exclusively at No Clean Singing. The track features guest vocals from Primitive Man’s Ethan McCarthy, and is a sobering, almost ethereal journey of fuzzed guitars and barbaric beats.
Absolution was produced by Dave Otero at Flatline Audio (Cobalt, Nightbringer, Cephalic Carnage), and bears Fantastic Frazetta-inspired cover art by Sam Turner (Speedwolf, Black Breath, Trve Brewing). Pre-order the album here.
