KISS’ “Hell or Hallelujah” Has Hit Written All Over It

Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Come back from vacation and the world is a new and different place. New and different because there’s a new KISS song in it.

The song is “Hell or Hallelujah,” off the upcoming Monster album (slated for an October release). The track is a full-octane, straight-up rock ‘n’ roll track – and it’s pure KISS. There had been speculation that the album would sound like a mix of Destroyer and Revenge, but what I hear is the Love Gun or Rock and Roll Over eras of KISS.

If the rest of Monster is as good as “Hell or Hallelujah,” KISS has a winner on their hands. Of course, as a die-hard KISS fan, I’m a bit biased in my opinion. Still, I’m not blind and a kick-ass album should make up for their appearances on American Idol and Dancing with the Stars in recent years.
